The Rekordbox Cue and Key Tool (ReCK) is the ultimate bridge between Rekordbox, Mixed in Key (MiK) and iTunes. ReCK 2.0 converts straight to a Rekordbox 6 or 7 collection, no more XML import and export!

ReCK is released with the approval and endorsement of Mixed in Key.

Even for users who don't use MiK, ReCK offers unique features to a Rekordbox workflow.

• Convert Mixed in Key cues to Rekordbox memory and optionally hot cues
• Mixed in Key cues can be merged with existing cues, replace existing cues or not set at all if the track already contains cues.
• Automatic Drop cue detection based on the energy level of the cue
• Assignment of track color or star rating based on the the Mixed in Key analyzed energy level.
• Automatic Build-Up cue detection based on the drop.
• ReCK is the only way to deliver Camelot keys to wav tracks in Rekordbox
• Collects all tracks without a valid Camelot key to a dedicated playlist in Rekordbox for easy batch delivery to Mixed In Key.
• Adds a zero in front of Camelot keys with a value lower than 10
• Generate sortable comment tags (key-bpm) 
• Merge hot- and memory cues so they are set identical
• Remove Mixed in Key cues without removing user set cues/loops 
• Gives iTunes the missing option to refresh tags of selected tracks.
• Hotcues can be protected so changes will only be applied to memory cues
• Customizable Comment tag creations that will remain sortable. Used tags are any combination of Key, BPM, and Energy.
• Writing key, bpm and comment tag to the track's file tags can be disabled without losing any of the sync and conversion features.

ReCK does not mess with your playlists/folders not in iTunes and not in Rekordbox. It only changes the key, comment, and cues as specified by your settings. 

Tracks To iTunes
ReCK comes bundled with the much acclaimed app Tracks To iTunes (TTi). Drag a folder containing audio files on the icon and it will create the complete storage structure in iTunes.

Known limitations
ReCK only works on UTF8 character sets. Extended characters sets in UTF16 (e.g. Greek and Hebrew characters) are not supported.

Convert from Windows

I recommend you read the whitepaper, follow the instructions and convince yourself everything works before you buy my apps. I only support the macOS side. The process of going back and forth between MacOS and Windows is strictly experimental.

License lost?
The license to the app is the PayPal email address used to pay for the purchase. This is not necessarily the same email address as the download link was sent to. If you don't know your license anymore, we can only look up PayPal information for the past 2 years. If your purchase was earlier then we can not help you and you need to buy a new license.
